Jackson Tai
Former Vice Chairman and CEO, DBS Group and DBS Bank
Jackson Tai served as vice chairman and CEO of DBS Group and DBS Bank between 2002 and 2007. Before assuming the role of CEO, he was chief financial officer starting in 1999, and he then became president and chief operating officer in 2001. He previously worked at JP Morgan, between 1974 and 1999, as an investment banker in New York City, Tokyo, Japan, and San Francisco, California.
Jackson currently serves as a non-executive director on the boards of Eli Lilly, Mastercard and HSBC.
Previously, he was a non-executive director on the Canada Pension Plan investment board, as well as on the boards of Royal Philips, Bank of China Limited, Singapore Airlines, NYSE Euronext, ING Groep, CapitaLand, SingTel and Jones Lang LaSalle. He also served as vice chairman on the board of the Islamic Bank of Asia.
Jackson holds an MBA from Harvard University and a B.S from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
